The installation draws visitors into an almost psychedelic space of light, where they can sit between two suspended horn speakers. In this space between them, you find yourself inside the sound of a small bell recorded at a market in Kutaisi / Georgia.
Within the electronically transformed sound, a dreamlike text appears, describing a wandering walk through a city, with strange encounters and fleeting impressions, and a view of the purple sky above it. In a subtle and very personal way, the installation captures a mood shaped by strong social tension, but also by a quiet longing for the incompatible to somehow become compatible.
The sound and light installation is complemented by a leaflet containing the English/Georgian translation of the text, originally spoken in German, which in turn refers to a sheet of paper whose meaning and content only gradually become clear to the protagonist of the dream narrative.
