The sound picture documents are a new documentation form for temporary installations in public space. They are showing in a condensed way the visual, acoustic and medial aspects of a project. In opposite to a video documentation this type of documentation works with an object for an intuitive impression. The photographic plate itself (Alu Dibond) is excited directly by an acoustic transducer. Thus the photograph vibrates like a loudspeaker and the sound is beamed to the front. Different sound tracks can be triggered by touching a sensor point at the surface of the nanoplayer. Both, the sound and the photography are representing the project in nuce. Additional medial aspects are represented by a computer beside, showing for example a fake website like in the projects "Watch Tower" and "Ramallah Tours". The first sound picture documents were presented at the European Media Art Festival 2011 in Osnabrück / Germany, exhibition "borderlines", Gallery écart. |
